The Rubicon Crisis

The Rubicon crisis is a somewhat unrecognised crisis in child development, sometimes referred to as pre-puberty, and an important building block on the path to adulthood. It is of central importance in preparing for actual puberty.
 

I gave my first talk on the Rubicon Crisis at the request of a mother, as I had been working with her child who was just at this age (8-10 years).

Many interested parents, mothers and fathers attended the talk, which made me very happy. The deep desire of the parents to learn to understand their children better was obvious.
