I have long harboured the idea of using eurythmy to make thoughts more deeply tangible. Thinking is not really possible without movement and even every concept causes a certain gesture in us, a movement that we can discover if we focus our attention on it.
I was inspired to do this a long time ago after a seminar with Frank Teichmann on Rudolf Steiner's philosophy of freedom. In this seminar we practised something similar, but only in our imagination.
At the beginning of this year, I was able to realise this idea for the first time as part of a seminar at the Rudolf Steiner House in Stuttgart.
We chose Friedrich Schiller's Letters on the Aesthetic Education of Man and set off on our journey. It was intensive work and an enriching exchange.
We will continue this work from October 2024.
